I have a pallet of 3" flanged ball valves that I am trying to liquidate. What sort of companies should I call?
What are flanged ball valves used for?
Answer:
They are often used in any application where you want a minimal pressure drop through the valve. But, they have a seal around the entire ball, so they are normally not used for high pressure systems. They are also used in systems that move solids suspended in liquids, like coal, ash, resins, etc.
I would think any company dealing in surplus equipment would do, however, you may need to prove what their pressure and temperature ratings are due to the fact there are so many counterfeit valves running around.
