Should you drive a sports car, truck or economical car on a fly drive holiday?
If you’re considering a Fly Drive holiday anywhere in the world, it might be a good idea to decide on the car you’re going to get before you get to your desired location. Depending on whether you want a sporty car or a long runner, one of these cars would be best for you?
Let’s take a look at probably the not quite so sensible motor to consider, but possibly the most fun. Sports cars are never really a good idea for long hauls; it’s not what they are designed for. However the Honda S2000 is one of the most popular cars in Canada. Well you just have to look at this car to fall in love with it, it is fast and very sexy with a horsepower of 237. Unfortunately this car does have some big down sides. Mainly it is only a two-seater, and because it is a sports car it doesn’t have much in the way of space or fuel consumption, only 18 mpg in fact. You can rest assured though that this car will show you a good time.
For those of us who love the planet, there is the mastered Toyota Prius. If you were to ask me i would say this is the most boring car o the lot, but it is in someways the most sensible. By far the Prius has the best fuel consumption, and with sixty five mpg it is hard to argue its importance. The great thing about this car is that it can drive for hours on end without needing a refill. The problems are the fact it is a Prius, it is boring and slow, not at all adventurous.
This next particular vehicle is a favourite for many people. The Chevrolet Colorado offers great 4WD support and is a smart looking vehicle. It has a very comfy interior and being 4wd is excellent especially when driving off road or through some of the dirt tracks in Canada. For a Truck it is relatively beefy, it has a standard rate of 185 HP but only does 23 miles to the gallon. Being a truck means that it can carry camping equipment and it comfortably sits three people as well. For obvious reasons this motor is going to be at the top of everyone's list for choice.
So if you’re considering Canada holidays, then one of these three cars is a great consideration. However some people may just want to relax on a Alaska Cruise.
