Frequently Asked Questions...
Staying physically active in the winter?
Winter, where I live, sucks. On average it is - 30˚C to - 55˚C with easily four feet of snow (this is my first year living here). I live an hour from the nearest city. I also live in a trailer, thus space is very limited.
There is NO recreation centers, no hills whatsoever (so forget about skiing and snowboarding), the roads aren't usually plowed. Our driveway is about 150 feet long, so shoveling snow isn't an ideal way. Usually our driveway is done by my step-grandfather's tractor.
What about my trampoline? I have a 14 or 16 foot trampoline. Could I use it in the winter?
Answer:
I'd say do some indoor exercises, such as crunches, sit-ups, medicine ball training, calf raises, lunges, squats, weight training, ect. Look up some exercises online or buy a training DVD. The trampoline can be a very useful tool when you do specific jumps. I'm not a trampoline expert, so I'd turn to Google for that part.
Hope I helped!!
