Capacity of Cylinder. I am trying to calculate how much powder I can store in a cylinder?
The cylinder is 8.2m Diameter (4.1m radius) and 2 meters high. Calculating the volume: pi x r2 x h = 3.142 x 16.81 x 2 = 105.6 cu metres
I need to work out how many Tons of powder I can store in the cylinder. I don’t currently have a bulk density of the powder however if you propose a figure for demonstration purposes I can alter when I have exact figure. Needs to be Tons.

As you have a volume of 105.6 m3, you can store 105.6 tonnes of water (density=1) or 63.36 tonnes of barley (d=0.6)
1Tonne is 1000kg
If you want tons then you have to chose between the various types, including imperial, US short, US long etc.
