Generally, most of these light bulbs are 10 or twenty percent more efficient as compared to regular incandescent bulbs with the same wattage. Even though the term halogen may mean inclusion of an essential gas of the halogen category, inert gases like krypton or argon can also be used.
Such bulbs could function at higher temperatures than the typical incandescent electric light bulbs. In addition to increased temperature, they're actually very much brighter.
