Let this be your guide as you adjust your tracks. Many garage doors are equipped with a lock bar. As long as the lock bark is correctly sitting in the strike opening, the door can be locked quickly. Unbuckle the screws from the track if it does not slide inside and make necessary adjustments before tightening them again.
Always check the balance of the door starting when it is sealed. Detach the automatic opener release system and do the operation on the door manually. The height of the residual opening should be around 3 to 4 feet. If it does not, it has a faulty balance and it needs to be fixed by a pro.
