A GNVQ in Business will give you an insight into the world of business. The aim of this specification is to encourage you to:
develop an understanding of the organisation of business
develop an understanding of how businesses are financed
develop an understanding of the culture of business
develop an understanding of the role of business within the local, national and international community
prepare for employment, or self employment, within a business environment
For the award of an Intermediate GNVQ, you must complete six Units. The table below gives you some idea of the scope of these units.
