If you are unsure of what you want to do in the future, Leisure and Tourism is still a worthwhile subject to study as it gives you the opportunity to achieve in a subject not previously studied What are the course content and assessment criteria? Leisure and Tourism is a two-year course consisting of three compulsory units and is the equivalent of two GCSEs. Each of the three units is equally weighted. Unit 1 Investigating Leisure and Tourism Unit 2 Marketing in Leisure and Tourism This unit is internally assessed by portfolio. Year 10 Work Experience In order to understand the nature of Leisure and Tourism, students must actively experience the Leisure and Tourism environment.
