The GCSE course builds on everything you have learned in Years 7 – 9. It involves two examination papers and two pieces of coursework based on Christianity and Judaism. In Year 10 you will study Christianity and Judaism in Year 11. For each religion you will study:
You will visit two local Christian places of worship and the Jewish Museum in Manchester. You will also have the chance to interview people with religious beliefs. Discussion is an important part of the course and previous groups have found this enjoyable. So you don’t have to be religious to opt for this GCSE but to be interested in issues such as God, death, life and belief and what they all mean.
